AIM Briefing For Participants

Why would I want to do AIM?

AIM provides a significant experience most people miss out on, how to work with information.

To backfill this important experience the AIM programme takes you through an exploration of how your attention works (its different for everyone though there are strong similarities for everyone), alongside how your brain stores information. These two aspects of working with information determine how efficient you can be and more importantly how much satisfaction you gain from work.

Storing information in the wrong part of your memory is a major cause of significant amounts stress. We explain how and why this is the case during the initial briefing. The AIM process takes you step-by-step to a point where you actively take control of these stress inducers so it becomes second nature.

We do not ask you to take on any "belief" about the way forward. It is a practical process where each stages is tuned, by you, to a best fit for your way of working. Your AIM consultant is your guide.

All we ask of you is you turn up, listen to our briefing (about 2.5 hours) and then try out each step. Your AIM consultant will work with you as long as you wish or need. For the first day please be 'out of the office' even though you will be there doing AIM's clearing the decks drill and liaising with your consultant.

Follow up session last anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5 hours and are scheduled in your calendar with your AIM consultant.

How many follow up sessions you have depends entirely upon how you progress through each stage. It is not a qualifying process. Some people take longer than others and it is not always the people you might initially think. There is no pressure to perform to a time line. We would rather you got it right for you. The outcome of this gentle approach is the final sign off is usually a non-event. Both you and your consultant simply know when it is right to sign off.
